Pottery is producing slipware again! The first firing took place
late February 2014.
These images were taken in the pottery shop
on March 1st, so if you are quick you should be able to get a
pot from this special firing.
The slipware compliments the pottery's stoneware
range which will continue to be the main seller. The pots look
great to me, I'm sure Mr. Cardew would have approved.
Other good news is that you now have an opportunity
to work in Ray Finch's old workroom which has been converted into
a training area with a number of electric wheels. The potters
are running lessons on Saturday mornings and there will be evening
classes in the Summer. If you are interested please contact the
pottery - contact details are on their website - www.winchcombepottery.co.uk
