I found two roof sculptures on buildings in St. Ives when I was walking around the town in 2015. One was in good condition but the other had been decapitated! Since then the building that the latter rode has been demolished.

Marion Whybrow's The Leach Legacy book has an illustration of a similar horse and rider which she says was made by Bernard Leach, maybe these two are his as well.

There are now two examples of horse and rider sculptures in the permanent exhibition in the Leach Pottery Museum and a modern example by Canadian sculptor Debra Sloan resides on the showroom porch at the pottery, images of these are shown below.
