Excitations features pots that inspired Gordon Baldwin whilst he was a student and led him to move away from painting to become one of the great British sculptural ceramicists.

The exhibition runs alongside the major exhibition Gordon Baldwin: Objects for a Landscape which features 140 large scale works and runs at York until June 10th before touring other venues in 2012 and 2013.
